How are you guys doing, recently I had visited Thailand and loved every bit of it. Thought of blogging about places I loved and enjoyed visiting the most.
First on my list is Phuket Old Town. When in Phuket spare a half day to explore Phuket Old Town. The town is filled with vivid structures and beautiful market.
5 Things to do at Phuket Old Town.
1.) Walk Across Vivid Streets
If you really want to fall in love with Phuket visit Phuket Old Town it gives a perfect fairyland feel, beautiful streets filled with vivid coloured houses makes one feel so vintage. Walk around the street and get clicked with vivid walls to get that perfect heritage inspired picture. Enjoy tiny things around the streets.
2) Street Shopping
Old town has dozens of designer boutiques and lots of local shops selling beachwear, flip flops, bags and souvenirs to take back home. If you good at bargaining the shops will definitely give you great discounts.
I loved shopping at the old town and my favourite boutique where I shopped the most was “BULAN” The boutique has everything right form outfits, fashion accessories, souvenirs all in blue & white combination which made this store more attractive and catchy.
3) Street Food
While shopping eating is always fun and eating local street food is a bliss. Try Khao Pad, Kai Yang and the famous Som Tum Salad is just awesome. If you are looking at light and handy food options, opt for fresh fruits and fresh chilled coconut water. Phuket has some of the best and juicy fruits I ever tasted, try local fruits like Purple Mangosteen, Rambutan, Durian if you can really take that strong and awful smell.
4) Cafes & Graffiti
Old Town has some of the best Cafes and beautiful Graffiti painted all across the town. Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy watching beautiful colours and graffiti at the old town.
There are many themed cafes around but the best was DOUBREW Cafe & Craft awesome cozy ambience with all vintage decor around made this place one of my favourite and last but not the least their amazing coffee and cookies are to die for.
5) Visit Buddhist Temple Wat Mongkol Nimit
Visit the famous and old Buddhist temple Wat Mongkol Nimit which is so peaceful and admire the temple structure which are so beautifully carved.
